Comments:

Contains SPOUT S-adenosylmethionine (AdoMet)-dependent methyltransferase domain which is also found in bacterial and yeast G18 tRNA 2'-O-methylases (SpoU, Trm3). Cm56 tRNA methylation is present only in archaea. In some species it is provided by a C/D sRNP.
